The County Commissioners’ Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP) and its member counties are committed to excellence in county government. CCAP provides a strong, unified voice for the Commonwealth’s 67 counties. CCAP advocates for and provides leadership on those issues that will enhance and strengthen the ability of county commissioners to better serve their citizens and govern more effectively and efficiently. The objectives of the Assessors’ Association of Pennsylvania (AAP) is to improve assessment practices in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; to provide for the collection, distribution, and exchange of information relating to the field of assessing among its members; to improve public relations; to inform members of legislation intended to improve assessment functions; to cooperate with other interested agencies in the promotion of the objectives of this Association; and in every proper way to encourage a fair and just distribution of the tax burden.
