Tim Barr has been employed by 21st Century Appraisals since 1983, and has been responsible for the research and development of 21st Century’s software solutions for local government since the beginning of the company’s technological history. He graduated from Messiah College with a degree in Computer/Business Information Systems which deals with the application of technology to meet practical business needs.
Working with local government for over 25 years, Tim is proficient in his knowledge of governmental operations, politics, project management, marketing, public speaking, problem resolution, appraisal methodology, and related assessment programs such as “Clean and Green” and “Homestead/Farmstead Exclusion.”
He has been the chief software architect of the legacy 21st Century CAMA for UNIX and Windows® environments, the Internet browser-based CourthouseOnline system, and the company’s Microsoft®- based Paragon Enterprise Land Records system.
In addition to serving as CTO and member of the Corporate Executive Council, Tim is Director of 21st Century’s IT Department. This department provides Assessment Office and land records consulting and software as well as project support to 21st Century’s numerous projects and customers. The IT Department also administers the hardware, software, and Wide-Area Network for 21st Century Appraisals. |
